2026 MESO Science Camp
Who: Students entering 5th through 9th grade interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
What: MESO Science Camp!
Join the Mobile Earth + Space Observatory (MESO) for our fifth annual summer science camps. This year, we offer two camps.
Camp 1: Solar System Exploration and Beyond for students entering 5th and 6th grade.
Camp 2: The Milky Way and Beyond for students entering 7th through 9th grade
Campers will learn about diverse STEM fields and compete in creative design challenges. Learning topics will include:
- Physics + astronomy
- Aerospace + engineering
- Astrobiology
- Geology
- Climatology
- And so much more!
When:
Camp 1, entering grades 5 and 6: June 1-5
Camp 2, entering grades 7-9: June 8-12
Time: 9 am to 3 pm each day
(Drop off: 8:30 - 9am, Pick-up: 3 - 3:30pm)

Cost: $400/camper. Note: A $200 non-refundable deposit is due upon receiving the Welcome Letter via email to insure your child’s place in the camp. Each camp is limited to 15 students.
Payment Options: Payment Information will be shared via the Welcome Letter which you will receive within a few days of registration.
Scholarships are available. Please indicate if you are interested in a scholarship when signing up your child to the program.
Additional Information: Participants should bring a water bottle, lunch, weather appropriate clothing, and sunscreen for working outdoors in the sun. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
